Bike Trails in the Ötztal
As well as the well-known Bike Republic Sölden, the entire Ötztal offers a comprehensive network of bike trails for every ability level. From leisurely valley cycle paths and panoramic routes to challenging single trails, you’ll find everything a biker’s heart desires. Over 850 kilometres of signposted mountain bike and cycle trails are waiting to be discovered – many of them directly accessible from the AQUA DOME.
Guided bike tours in the AQUA DOME
Several times a week, the AQUA DOME offers guided bike tours at all levels of difficulty. „There really is something for everyone“ says Ralph, our bike guide. The Längenfeld tour, for example, is an easy family excursion with the Ötztal local history and open-air museum as a highlight. One of the more challenging top tours around Längenfeld, on the other hand, is the tour via Gries up to the rustic Nisslalm. The last 350 metres in altitude with many hairpin bends are fun – and after a good 12 kilometres, you can rest your bike at 2,051 metres above sea level while enjoying a traditional snack with a view of the Stubai Alps.

Bike Republic Sölden
A must for everyone who loves gravity: the Bike Republic Sölden is the centrepiece of the bike scene in the Ötztal. A lovingly maintained trail network for all skill levels awaits, from flowing lines to natural trails in alpine terrain. Ideal, whether you want to try mountain biking for the first time or push yourself to the limit on technically demanding terrain. The offer is just as varied as the landscape.
A highlight for anyone looking for adventure on two wheels – with adrenalin, flow and panoramic views included.

Our Bike Highlight
This tour is one of our guests‘ absolute favourites – and for good reason. The route leads through the idyllic Windachtal valley, past rushing streams and flowering alpine meadows. Gentle inclines make for a pleasant start before the route slowly winds its way upwards on wide forest paths and short, varied trails. Along the way, there are always marvellous views of the surrounding summit scenery, inviting you to pause and marvel.
A special highlight is the rustic stop at the Schweinfurter Hütte, with regional delicacies and Tyrolean hospitality. This tour is perfect for ambitious enthusiasts who want an active sporting experience in nature. You’ll be sure to return with a smile on your face.
