Ice skating in a dreamlike winter setting
When the natural swimming lake in Umhausen transforms into a sparkling ice landscape, a special place for winter activity and shared moments is created in the middle of the Oetztal. The new Ice Park Umhausen combines ice skating, winter atmosphere, and a nature experience surrounded by the impressive mountain world of the Oetztal.
An approximately 330-metre-long ice track leads around the lake and invites visitors to enjoy relaxed laps on the ice. The experience is complemented by additional ice surfaces, atmospheric lighting, and winter photo spots made of ice and snow. Whether with family, friends, or as a couple, the Ice Park creates space for active winter days in a special atmosphere.
The spacious ice track offers plenty of room for skating and directly connects two additional ice areas. A walking path runs alongside the track, allowing companions and spectators to enjoy relaxed winter moments as well.
Thanks to modern cooling technology, the ice surface remains usable regardless of weather and temperatures, ensuring reliable skating enjoyment throughout the winter season.
On site, skate rental, small-scale gastronomy, and a cosy winter atmosphere ensure relaxing hours on the ice.

Our tip: The Ice Park is especially atmospheric in the evening, when the illuminated ice track and the winter scenery create a very special atmosphere.
Good to know: Ice Park Umhausen is open seasonally from December to early March. Ice skates and skating aids can be rented directly on site. Suitable for young and old.
