HEALING SPRINGS FROM DEEP UNDERGROUND

As far back as the 16th century, the area formerly known as the “Längenfelder Baths” was known for its healing springs. Today, the Aqua Dome uses the rediscovered healing springs for your healthy relaxation.

The precious water bubbles up to the surface in Längenfeld in the Ötztal valley from more than 6000 feet underground and at a temperature of 104° F. According to chemical analyses, the water in Längenfeld that flows from deep inside the earth is a sulfur spring with a divalent sulfur content of 5 mg S–/l. For this reason, it is a legally recognize mineral spring: 3 to 4 liters per second bubble up to the surface, wonderfully warm and pure, right into our thermal baths. Feel the strength of the springs!

A total of 12 indoor and outdoor pools on an overall water area of 2,200 square metres are ready to be explored. The dome at the thermal bath is shaped like a glass crystal and includes two indoor pools of 34 and 36 degrees. The three futuristic bowl-shaped pools of the thermal bath area, which seem to float under the open sky, distinguish the „Signature Spa of the Alps“. Each of the pools offers a special highlight: Do you prefer an invigorating massage basin, or rather a soothing sulphur pool with underwater music and light effects for almost weightless relaxation? Also available: a 25 m sports pool and a river whirlpool.

There is a special kiddies’ world for children. It features a giant slide with a funnel and tyre chute, the AQUAKI water paradise on the “Ark” ship, with splash and water games, as well as a jungle gym and play world – away from the pools and with a separate outdoor area for summer. Secluded oases of peace offer relaxation for families. Parents can enjoy the saunas and the thermal bath on their own, while their children are looked after by a professional animation team on request.

A close-up experience of the elements of water and earth, the contrast of blazing heat and icy cold, the thermal baths and the Alps. On more than 2,000 square metres, the sauna world of the thermal baths offers various saunas, such as the stone sauna or the gorge sauna, numerous water pools and peaceful relaxation rooms. In addition, there is an open-air area and a sauna bar.

The AQUA DOME is open all year round. The wellness hotel and the thermal bath are a popular place to unwind at any time of the year. The only thing that changes is the scenery: flowering alpine meadows or snow-capped peaks. In summer you can relax in the huge outdoor area and in the thermo-regulated pools. The large refreshing sports pool invites you to swim. In winter, you can warm up in the pools, saunas or steam baths or cuddle up in a fluffy bathrobe.
