A HEALING SPRING FROM DEEP WITHIN THE EARTH OF THE ÖTZ VALLEY

The Längenfeld thermal water is the source of the AQUA DOME: its efficacy as a recognised healing spring was discovered as early as the 16th century and later utilised for spa treatments. Today, the pleasantly warm Längenfeld thermal water flows directly into the AQUA DOME from a depth of 1,865 metres, enriching almost all 12 indoor and outdoor pools with 10 per cent thermal water.

According to chemical analysis, the Längenfeld water is a sodium-chloride-sulphate-sulphur thermal spring with a bivalent sulphur content of 5 mg S–/l. At a temperature of 34° to 36° C in our thermal pools, the thermal water is not only mentally relaxing but also has a positive effect on joints, muscles and circulation. A total of 12 indoor and outdoor pools, covering a total water area of 2,200 square metres, are waiting to be discovered. The Thermendom, shaped like a glass crystal, features two indoor pools with water temperatures ranging from 34 to 36 degrees. The three futuristic, seemingly floating bowl-shaped pools of the open-air spa are the hallmark of the “Signature Spa of the Alps”. Each of these pools offers a special highlight: how about the invigorating massage pool, the soothing sulphur pool or the brine pool with lighting effects for almost weightless relaxation? There is a special kiddies’ world for children.
